ISLAMABAD: Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir has declared that no force—terrorist or otherwise, even across ten generations—can harm Pakistan or Balochistan, reaffirming the military’s unwavering resolve to defend the country’s sovereignty and stability.
Speaking at the Overseas Pakistanis Convention in Islamabad, Gen Munir referred to Balochistan as “the jewel of our crown” and “the destiny of Pakistan,” sending a strong message to those who attempt to disrupt peace in the region.
“Whoever tries to block Pakistan’s progress, we will remove that obstacle—together,” he said, emphasizing unity as the nation’s strongest asset.
The Army Chief praised the resilience and strength of the Pakistani people, stating, “The armed forces are ready to overcome any challenge—as long as the nation stands united with us.” He also highlighted Pakistan’s rich natural resources, urging gratitude and commitment to the country’s potential.
Rejecting the commonly held concern of ‘brain drain’, Gen Munir reframed the conversation as a ‘brain gain’, applauding the success of overseas Pakistanis across the globe. “You are living proof of what Pakistanis can achieve. You are not just ambassadors—you are the light that shines across the world,” he said.
He stressed the importance of preserving and passing on Pakistan’s legacy to the next generation, reminding the audience of the sacrifices made by the country’s founding generation. “A handful of terrorists cannot dictate the future of Pakistan,” he asserted.
General Munir’s remarks were not just a message of strength, but also a call for unity, national pride, and collective progress—resonating strongly with both local and overseas Pakistanis.
