ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has launched a large-scale military operation titled Operation Bunyan ul Marsoos in response to what it describes as continued provocations and aggression from India, according to security sources.
Sources confirmed that the operation involves targeted strikes against multiple strategic installations across India. The offensive marks a significant escalation in regional tensions.
As part of the operation’s initial phase, a BrahMos missile storage facility located in Beas, Punjab, was successfully targeted and destroyed. The BrahMos missile is a key component of India’s strategic arsenal, and the strike is being viewed by military analysts as a calculated move aimed at neutralizing high-value assets.
The operation, still underway, reflects what officials call a “measured but firm” response to safeguard national security and territorial integrity. Additional details about the scope and progress of the operation are expected to be released in the coming hours.
