Pakistan Railways has inaugurated a modernized rake of the 125-Up and 126-Down Lasani Express, introducing upgraded passenger coaches along the Lahore–Narowal–Sialkot route. The launch reflects ongoing efforts to modernize railway operations and improve passenger experience nationwide.

At the inauguration ceremony, Additional General Manager Mechanical Yousaf Khan highlighted that the upgrade aligns with the Federal Minister for Railways Hanif Abbasi’s plan to modernize railway operations. He stated that the new rake provides safer, more comfortable, and higher-quality travel for commuters.
The AGM emphasized that thousands of daily travelers between Lahore and Sialkot will benefit from enhanced seating, improved onboard amenities, and overall better service.
