LONDON: An unexpected flock of pigeons caused a brief interruption during the third One Day International (ODI) between England and the West Indies at the Kennington Oval on Tuesday.
The match came to a temporary halt when several pigeons flew onto the field, momentarily distracting players and officials. As England’s Matthew Potts prepared to make a throw, the birds scattered — all except one.
In a light-hearted moment, Potts attempted to catch the lone remaining pigeon, which eventually took flight, allowing the match to resume shortly after.
