Early, unofficial results from Sunday’s by-elections show PML-N candidates leading in most National Assembly and Punjab Assembly constituencies, while counting continues across key districts of Punjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. Polling was held in six National Assembly and seven Punjab Assembly seats, including Haripur, Lahore, Faisalabad, Sahiwal, Dera Ghazi Khan, Sargodha, Mianwali, and Muzaffargarh.
PML-N ahead in majority of National Assembly seats
Initial results give the ruling party a comfortable advantage in several NA constituencies:

NA-185 Dera Ghazi Khan:
From 80 polling stations, PML-N’s Mahmood Qadir Laghari leads with 27,941 votes, followed by PPP’s Sardar Dost Khosa at 13,624. -
NA-143 Chichawatni:
From 255 polling stations, PML-N’s Chaudhry Muhammad Tufail Jutt leads with 75,449 votes, while independent Zarar Akbar trails with 7,305. -
NA-18 Haripur:
A tight contest shows independent candidate Shehernaz Umar Ayub leading with 76,265 votes, with PML-N’s Babar Nawaz close behind at 73,775. -
NA-129 Lahore:
From 137 polling stations, PML-N’s Hafiz Nauman leads with 15,218 votes. PTI-backed Choudhry Arsalan follows with 9,408. -
NA-96 Faisalabad:
Unofficial results from 100 polling stations put PML-N’s Bilal Badr ahead with 21,960 votes, while independent Malik Nawab Sher Wesir has 9,028. -
NA-104 Faisalabad:
From 151 polling stations, PML-N’s Raja Danial leads with 20,521 votes, with independent Rana Adnan at 7,647.
Punjab Assembly seats show similar trend
Early counts indicate PML-N dominance in most provincial constituencies as well:

From 163 polling stations, PML-N’s Chaudhry Hanif Jutt leads with 40,519 votes; independent Falak Sher Dogar trails with 9,501. -
PP-73 Sargodha:
PML-N’s Sultan Ali Ranjha leads with 23,697 votes; independent Haris Ranjha follows with 5,726. -
PP-98 Faisalabad:
PML-N’s Azad Ali Tabsum leads with 5,932 votes, narrowly ahead of independent Ajmal Cheema with 5,546. -
PP-115 Faisalabad:
Mian Tahir Jamil leads with 12,431, with independent Ahad Cheema at 868. -
PP-116 Faisalabad:
Rana Shaharyar leads with 23,789 votes, followed by independent Asghar Qaiser’s 5,865. -
PP-87 Mianwali:
PML-N’s Ali Haider Noor leads with 6,020 votes; independent Nawabzada Ayaz Khan trails far behind at 772. -
PP-269 Muzaffargarh:
One of the few exceptions, PPP’s Alamdar Abbas Qureshi leads with 42,976 votes, while independent Iqbal Khan Pitafi follows with 30,072.
The Election Commission of Pakistan continues monitoring the vote count. All numbers remain unofficial and subject to final confirmation.
