ISLAMABAD: Police have recovered weapons and a satellite phone from the room of PTI leader Shehbaz Gill in Parliament Lodges during raid on Monday night.
Foreign currency was also recovered during the raid, however, police did not disclose the amount of foreign currency.

The Islamabad police conducted raid under the supervision of a senior superintendent of police (SSP). Shehbaz Gill accompanied the raiding team in handcuffs.

An unlicensed pistol was recovered by the police, but Gill disowned the weapon.
Meanwhile, a satellite phone, mobile phone and some USBs were also recovered from the room of Gill on Monday night.
Talking to journalists, Gill confirmed PTI chief Imran Khan’s claims that he (Gill) has been sexually assaulted in police custody.
Replying to the questions of the journalists, Gill confirmed PTI chief Imran Khan’s claims regarding being sexually assaulted in police custody.
“Yes, I was sexually abused,” said Gill in response to the question.
The raiding team also searched the Gill’s room in Punjab House but they found nothing from there.
Police said Gill’s belongings had already been shifted to the Parliament lodges. Police also said a case of the pistol recovered from Gill’s Parliament Lodges room is being registered at the Secretariat police station.
Importantly, Gill’s Parliament lodges room is allotted to Senator Abdul Qadir, but Gill is using that room.
According to sources, the police raided the room to recover the script read by Gill on the private TV channel.
On Monday, a district and sessions court in Islamabad granted a two-day physical remand of Gill in a sedition case filed against him, after reviewing his medical report.
