A Serene Air flight carrying Umrah pilgrims has been delayed for over 48 hours, causing significant inconvenience to passengers. The flight, ER 402, was scheduled to land at Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport from Jeddah at 11:15 pm on March 19. However, the flight was unexpectedly canceled at the time of departure, with no clear explanation provided.
Passengers, many of whom had been eagerly anticipating their return, were taken to a hotel but were given no information about a rescheduled departure. The delay left travelers, including several Umrah pilgrims, stranded and facing considerable hardships.
An official statement from the airline’s spokesperson could not be obtained to clarify the reasons behind the cancellation or provide further updates on the situation.
