Final Season Brings Complete Closure to the Series
As Stranger Things gears up for its highly anticipated fifth and final season, co-creator Matt Duffer has finally revealed what fans have been waiting to hear — the runtime of the finale.
In an interview with Variety, Duffer confirmed that the series finale will run for around two hours, promising a complete and satisfying conclusion to the hit Netflix saga.
“This is a complete story. It’s done,” he said. “We do every last remaining thing we wanted to do with the Demogorgons, the Mind Flayer, Vecna, the Upside Down, Hawkins, and all these characters.”
The creators say the final season will bring everything full circle, tying up years of mysteries, battles, and emotional arcs.
Episode Runtimes and Release Schedule Confirmed
While earlier episodes’ details were kept under wraps, Ross Duffer has now shared the runtimes for the first four episodes of Stranger Things Season 5 via Instagram:
