ISLAMABAD: As the final Ashra of Ramadan began, thousands of Muslims across Pakistan and other Muslim nations began their spiritual retreat through Itikaf, dedicating themselves to prayer and seeking divine blessings.
In Peshawar, mosques were filled with a deep sense of devotion, with the atmosphere charged with heightened spirituality. The commencement of the last ten days of Ramadan saw increased activity in the city’s mosques, where special arrangements were made to accommodate those observing Itikaf.
At the Sunehri Mosque in Peshawar, there was a significant influx of worshippers, both young and old, engaging in the sacred practice of seclusion and devotion. Preparations for Itikaf were meticulously organized to ensure the comfort and needs of the worshippers during this blessed period.
Meanwhile, in Karachi, a similar surge of devotion was witnessed, with millions of Muslims gathering in mosques to observe Itikaf, seeking closeness to Allah. The mosques in the city had made special provisions for those participating in the spiritual retreat.
In both cities, the atmosphere was filled with reverence and devotion, as worshippers dedicated themselves fully to prayer, worship, and spiritual reflection during the final ten days of Ramadan, hoping to witness the sighting of the Shawaal moon.
