In a significant blow to Indian-sponsored terrorism, three Fitna al Hindustan terrorists were killed in an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Mastung district, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) confirmed on July 24. The Mastung operation, specifically targeting militants linked to the Fitna al Hindustan network, also resulted in the martyrdom of two Pakistan Army personnel, further highlighting the grave cost of combating Fitna al Hindustan terrorism.
According to ISPR, the Mastung operation was launched following confirmed intelligence reports about the presence of Fitna al Hindustan terrorists in the area. Security forces swiftly mobilized and effectively engaged the suspected location. During the confrontation, three Fitna al Hindustan operatives were eliminated, dealing a strong blow to Indian-sponsored subversion in Balochistan.
However, in the line of duty, Major Zeeyyad Salim Awal, aged 31 and a native of Khushab, and Sepoy Nazam Hussain, aged 22 from Jhelum, embraced martyrdom while courageously fighting Fitna al Hindustan militants. Major Awal led the Mastung operation from the front, displaying exceptional bravery in the face of fierce resistance from the Fitna al Hindustan cell.
ISPR emphasized that a sanitisation sweep was ongoing in Mastung to ensure that no additional Fitna al Hindustan operatives remained hidden. The statement reiterated Pakistan Army’s firm commitment to rooting out Indian-sponsored terrorism and neutralizing threats from groups like Fitna al Hindustan that aim to destabilize Pakistan through violence.
The Mastung operation, according to military officials, symbolizes Pakistan’s unwavering resolve to confront Fitna al Hindustan terrorism with full force. The sacrifices made by Major Awal and Sepoy Hussain during the Mastung operation not only highlight the courage of Pakistan’s armed forces but also deepen the national resolve to eliminate Fitna al Hindustan-linked threats.
As the Mastung operation continues, the ISPR vowed that no effort will be spared in the fight against Fitna al Hindustan terrorism, which continues to pose a serious threat to peace and stability in the region.
