Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal has expressed deep appreciation for China’s unwavering support to Pakistan during its recent tensions with India.
The acknowledgment came during a luncheon hosted in honour of the Chinese ambassador. Speaking at the event, Iqbal emphasized that China has consistently stood by Pakistan in times of adversity.
He described the Pakistan-China partnership as a lasting and resilient bond built on mutual trust and respect, noting that it is not a temporary alliance but a sustainable strategic relationship.
Iqbal also highlighted that the Chinese envoy recognized the restoration of peace and stability in the region, which is essential for long-term progress.
According to an official statement, the Chinese ambassador commended Pakistan’s conduct as a responsible nation during the crisis with India. He affirmed that regional peace would yield positive benefits for Pakistan’s future.
Reiterating China’s commitment, the ambassador assured full cooperation in supporting Pakistan’s development journey and strengthening bilateral ties further.
