Meteorologist Dr. Abdullah Al-Mosnad has announced that the calls to prayer (azaan) for Fajr, Zuhr, Asr, Maghrib, and Isha in Mecca and Madina will occur simultaneously due to seasonal changes.
This alignment in prayer times will take place on Thursday and Friday.
Dr. Al-Mosnad explained that for several days following Friday, the Maghrib and Isha prayers will also be conducted at the same time in both holy cities _ Mecca and Madina.
He further noted that after the seasonal shift, the call to prayer timings in Mecca and Medina will return to their usual schedule.
Typically, the azaan in Mecca and Medina is announced with a difference of about 10 minutes.
