ISLAMABAD: Chief Justice of Pakistan, Yahya Afridi, has reconstituted the Case Management Committee, which he will personally oversee.
The newly formed six-member committee includes Justices Naeem Afghan, Shahid Bilal, and Shafi Siddiqui, along with the Additional Registrar and the Director of IT.
This reconstitution is aimed at improving judicial efficiency and streamlining the case management process.
Supreme Court Releases Sitting Schedule for Feb 15-21, 2025
The Supreme Court of Pakistan has published its roster of sittings for the week of February 15-21, 2025, with several regular and constitutional benches set to hear cases in Islamabad.
Chief Justice Yahya Afridi will lead Regular Bench-I, along with Justices Muhammad Shafi Siddiqui and Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb, from February 17 to 21.
Other benches include Regular Bench-II, led by Justices Syed Mansoor Ali Shah and Aqeel Ahmed Abbasi, and Regular Bench-III, comprising Justices Munib Akhtar and Ayesha A. Malik, both hearing cases during the same period.
Some benches will sit for shorter durations, such as Regular Bench-IV, which includes Justices Jamal Khan Mandokhail and Aamer Farooq, scheduled for February 17 only.
Additionally, Constitutional Bench-IV, chaired by Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan, will hear cases from February 18 to 20, alongside Justices Jamal Khan Mandokhail, Muhammad Ali Mazhar, Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi, Musarrat Hilali, Naeem Akhter Afghan, and Shahid Bilal Hassan, with a revised composition on February 21.
