ISLAMABAD: Journalists covering the long-march of the PTI said that one of the security guards of the PTI pushed Sadaf Naeem down from the container and she was crushed under the wheels of the container.
Journalists have shared a message in the official WhatsApp group of Karachi Press Club (KPC) in which they have narrated the incident.

According to message, three TV reporters _ Sadaf Naeem, Ikhlaq Bajwa of Dunya News and cameraman Asif Pervez, Kashif Salman of Neo TV and cameramen were running along the container in an attempt to fetch unique clips of PTI chairman Imran Khan and other party leaders during long-march in Sadhoke near Kamoke _ a small city on GT Road where Sunday’s long-march concluded.
After running for two kilometers, Ikhlaq Bajwa got exhausted, sat aside on a road, and advised Sadaf Naeem not to run with the container. She, however, ignored the advice and continued to get hold of the container. When she got hold of the door of the container and tried to forward, one of the security guards of the PTI deputed at the door, pushed her down and she fell on the road and her head was crushed under the wheels of the container.

Asif Pervez, a cameraman for Dunya News was the first to see the killing of Sadaf and he raised a hue and cry there to attract other TV journalists, covering the long-march.
According to the message, instead of helping journalists, the security guards of PTI started manhandling the TV reporters, and cameramen and tried their best that they could not make videos of Sadaf Naeem who was crushed under the wheels of the container. The TV journalists, including cameramen, have blamed the security guards of PTI for the tragic death of Sadaf Naeem. Female TV reporter Sad had been working with Khabrain media group for the past two decades and she was known as a hard-working journalist. TV Channel-5 is also a subsidiary of this media group.
Naeem Bhatti, husband of Sadaf Naeem said he did not want any action against PTI or any party leader and termed the death of Sadaf as a ‘mishap’.
