Ground Assault
TEHRAN – The Secretary-General of Hezbollah in Lebanon, Sayid Hassan Nasrallah, has reasserted the readiness of the resistance forces in the Arab country as Israeli troops are ready for ground assault.
He emphasized to the visiting Iranian Foreign Minister that they are keeping all options open.
Hezbollah issued this warning in the midst of the severe Israeli aggression against the besieged Gaza Strip, which led to countless civilian casualties.
Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian met with Nasrallah in Beirut as part of his regional tour that encompassed Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria.
During their meeting, they discussed the situation in Palestine and the full preparedness of Palestinian resistance groups to counter Israeli aggression.
The Iranian Foreign Minister also briefed the Hezbollah leader on Iran’s diplomatic initiatives regarding Palestine, including the push for an extraordinary meeting of the Organization of the Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
Amir Abdollahian further outlined Iran’s efforts to end the harsh Israeli blockade of Gaza. It will facilitate the delivery of humanitarian aid, such as medicine, food, water, electricity, and fuel, to the people of Gaza.
Amir Abdollahian and Nasrallah also expressed their condemnation of the unilateral support provided by the U.S. and certain Western nations for Israel’s actions in Gaza. They stressed the urgent necessity for taking action to halt Israeli atrocities against Gaza.
“Today, the resistance is in excellent condition, with all possible scenarios well-prepared,” stated the Hezbollah leader to the Iranian Foreign Minister.
Moreover, Iranian FM Amir Abdollahian also held discussions with senior officials from Hamas and Islamic Jihad in Beirut as part of his visit to Lebanon. These talks centered on the latest developments in Palestine.
The Palestinian officials underscored that Operation Al-Aqsa Storm represented a natural response by the Palestinian nation’s resistance to the ongoing daily crimes committed by the Zionist regime, particularly under the extremist leadership of Netanyahu against Palestinians and the frequent desecration of the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
They further emphasized that despite the war crimes perpetrated by the usurping Zionist regime against the oppressed people of Gaza, the resistance groups have stood resolutely against the regime’s aggression.
Their morale, motivation, and capabilities remain high as they continue to advance on the path of resistance.
