Former federal minister Faisal Vawda has claimed that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) will see the emergence of two forward blocs formed by senior party members.
Speaking during an interview, Vawda ruled out the possibility of a grand alliance or sit-in after Eid. He alleged that the PTI leadership wants its founder, Imran Khan, to remain in jail and is deliberately refraining from endorsing his letters.
“The party is distancing itself from him, and its leadership is not supporting his directives,” Vawda stated. He further predicted that Junaid Akbar would fail in his role and resign within six months.
Meanwhile, PTI leader Faisal Chaudhry called for an internal inquiry to investigate the party’s reluctance in backing Imran Khan’s letters.
