Not to arrest Imaan Mazari

He said the had sought a record of all First Information Reports (FIRs) lodged against Imaan Mazari.

“Considering that she was apprehended on Aug 20, the court’s stance is that if any FIR is lodged subsequent to that date, she cannot be arrested under those charges,” he added. “If this court can offer relief, we will pursue it here; otherwise, we will approach the relevant courts,” Barrister Raja added. “Alternatively, we will petition for protective bail within this court.”
He said, “We argued before the court that the fundamental rights outlined in the law and Constitution apply to every citizen of the country. Regardless of whether a citizen expresses something agreeable or not, the Constitution takes precedence.”
He also affirmed that the high court had mandated that Mazari should not be relocated beyond the jurisdiction of Islamabad.
