10 urgent measures
Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi has introduced a set of 10 urgent measures aimed at addressing the deadly Israeli attacks on Palestinians in Gaza during an emergency meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) in Riyadh.
Raisi strongly condemned Israel’s brutal aggression, labeling it as the “most heinous crime” in human history.

He emphasized the potential role of the OIC in fostering unity among Islamic nations against Israel and announced Iran’s commitment to embracing good neighborliness and regional unity.
Raisi urged regional leaders to act urgently, declaring that it is a day of action for the Islamic world. He emphasized the need to defend the holy Al-Aqsa mosque and expressed deep concern over the historical shame brought by the events in Gaza and the West Bank.
Despite facing a prolonged blockade, Palestinians in Gaza have shown resilience against the oppressive Israeli regime, facing international law violations through the use of prohibited weapons and deliberate targeting of civilians.
The Iranian president accused the U.S. of being Israel’s primary accomplice, highlighting its support for criminal operations and prevention of ceasefire efforts in the UN Security Council.
Raisi proposed a referendum in Palestine involving all residents between the river and the sea, aiming for a democratic resolution to the longstanding conflict.
He concluded by presenting a series of solutions to address the crisis in Gaza, including an immediate end to the massacre, lifting the humanitarian blockade, withdrawal of Israeli forces, and establishment of an international court to prosecute Israel and the U.S. for their actions.
Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman also called for an immediate cessation of Israel’s war on Gaza, stressing the importance of ending the Israeli occupation, and illegal settlements, and restoring the rights of the Palestinian people.
Bin Salman criticized the failure of the UN Security Council and other international bodies to prevent a full-scale humanitarian crisis.
US TikToker embraces Islam amid Gaza crisis
Meanwhile, a famous American TikToker Megan Rice reverted to Islam after she started reading the Qurān for her book club.
She was inspired by the faith of Palestinians in Gaza, who have been facing genocide but holding onto their imaan.
“So today I made a video saying how impressed I was with the Palestinian faith because it just seems that Palestinians have this iron-clad faith, even in the face of losing quite literally everything. She also said that people were commenting underneath saying ‘Well yeah girl, that’s Islam, have you read the Qurān, the holy book of Muslims? You should probably read the Qurʾān.’ I was also curious as to what… how… even in genocide the Palestinians’ faith is so strong…”
