Senior advisor to the commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), Brigadier General Ahmad Vahidi, has stated that Iran is fully prepared for a prolonged war, asserting the country’s military strength and strategic capabilities.
Addressing the media, General Vahidi emphasized Iran’s readiness to engage in extended conflict, affirming that the nation’s most advanced weaponry would be deployed if required. He warned that Israel has already been cautioned about the serious consequences of further escalation.
“Iran is equipped to handle any form of warfare,” Vahidi declared, adding that Iran has yet to activate its strategic missile systems. He noted that the deployment of Iran’s cutting-edge weapons would be decided at the appropriate time.
General Vahidi also revealed that Iran would soon unveil new military technologies, suggesting that significant developments are expected in the near future. “The world will soon witness our advancements,” he said.
He assured that Iran possesses various tactical options to inflict severe damage on the Israeli regime, which recently launched strikes on residential neighborhoods in Tehran as well as military and nuclear facilities across Iran on June 13.
These attacks led to the deaths of several high-ranking military officials, nuclear scientists, and numerous civilians.
In response, Iran has carried out multiple retaliatory missile strikes on Israeli targets over the past four days.
Following the Israeli aggression, Supreme Leader Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei condemned the attacks, stating that the Israeli regime had committed “a grave mistake and a reckless act.”
