LAHORE/ISLAMABAD: Punjab government has reduced the maximum fare of Lahore Orange Metro Train to Rs 40 with effect from Friday (Nov 18).
On Thursday, the Punjab government revised fares of the Orange Line Train in Lahore which will be applicable from Friday (Nov 18).
The Punjab cabinet gave approval for revision in the fare of the Orange Line Train, according to General Manager (Operations) Uzair Shah.
Shah said the metro train’s fares have been revised for the first time since the beginning of its operations two years ago.
In the new calculation, fare will be charged by the kilometers and five stages for fares have been determined.

If travelling from Ali Town to Dera Gujran, the last stop, the fare will be Rs40.
