ISLAMABAD: A delegation of government, led by State Minister for Foreign Affairs Hina Rabbani Khar, reached Kabul today to hold talks with Afghanistan’s government on bilateral issues including TTP’s decision to end ceasefire in Pakistan.

Ms Khar held meeting with Afghan Foreign Minister Amir Khan Mutaqqi and discussed matters of bilateral importance with him.

Pakistani delegation is in Kabul on a day-long visit on Tuesday. Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Afghanistan Ambassador Mohammad Sadiq also accompanied the delegation.
Deputy Minister for Economy of Afghanistan Abdul Latif Nazari welcomed Minister of State Hina Rabbani Khar at Kabul airport.
Hina Rabbani Khar held political consultations with Amir Khan Muttaqi, Foreign Office said in a statement issued today.
Moreover, the issue of the TTP ceasefire is also expected to be discussed in the bilateral meetings in Kabul.
“Ms Khar will convey the concerns about attacks on Pakistan security forces emanating from Afghanistan. She will also discuss a controlled movement of people and trade in view of growing mutual trade,” former foreign secretary Jalil Abbas Jilani said.
