In a significant relief for Hajj pilgrims, Pakistan has fully reopened its airspace for all categories of flight operations, according to a spokesperson from the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
This announcement comes after a brief suspension prompted by recent regional security concerns. With the airspace now restored, all Hajj flights are set to operate according to the original schedule, ensuring that the pilgrimage journey of thousands of Pakistani citizens remains on track. The ministry confirmed that a total of 10 Hajj flights were canceled during the suspension.
Despite the disruption, 19,669 Pakistani pilgrims have already arrived in Saudi Arabia. Authorities are coordinating with airlines and related agencies to revise future schedules and reduce further inconvenience.
Pilgrims and their families are urged to maintain regular contact with their designated Haji Camps for the most accurate and timely updates on flight operations and travel logistics.
