ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s military media wing announced a successful test of Fatah-II missile on Wednesday, highlighting its advanced capabilities.
The ISPR noted that Fatah-II boasts cutting-edge avionics, a sophisticated navigation system, and a distinct flight trajectory, empowering it to engage targets with remarkable precision within a range of 400 kilometers.
Senior officers from various services, along with dedicated scientists and engineers, witnessed the test flight, as acknowledged by the ISPR.
President Dr. Arif Alvi, interim Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir extended their congratulations to the troops and scientists involved in the successful test.
Earlier in October, Pakistan had conducted a prosperous flight test of the Ababeel Weapon System, aimed at reinforcing deterrence and bolstering strategic stability in the region through the implementation of Full Spectrum Deterrence within the framework of Credible Minimum Deterrence.
In August 2021, Pakistan had also demonstrated the Fatah-1 guided multi-launch rocket system, emphasizing its indigenous development and capacity to deliver a conventional warhead with an extended range.
