Pakistani student Anara Behram Durrani has won a gold medal at the prestigious STEMCO Science Global Competition, bringing international recognition to Pakistan.
The competition, held from February 12 to 17, 2025, at the National University of Singapore, featured some of the brightest young scientific minds from around the world.
Out of 26,000 Pakistani students who initially participated, only 15 advanced to the international finals, where they competed against 177 participants from 13 countries.
Anara’s outstanding performance in the first phase of the competition secured her a gold medal, marking a significant achievement for Pakistan.
