Camryn Kinsey, a former Trump administration official and conservative commentator, fainted during a live broadcast on Thursday, prompting an immediate pause for medical assistance.
While being interviewed about President Joe Biden’s recent media appearances, Kinsey began stumbling over her words before her eyes rolled back and she collapsed off-camera.
“So this is about incompetence, it’s not about ideology or, uh, it’s not about—” Kinsey began, but was cut off when she fell backward.
A visibly shocked host remained calm, stating, “Oh! Oh my goodness.” He continued, “We’re just gonna get some help for Camryn… um… let me come back to Lydia while we get some help… actually, we’re going to a break right here. We’ll be right back.”
After the break, the host returned to assure viewers that Kinsey was conscious and receiving assistance from emergency responders.
The moment quickly gained widespread attention on social media, with clips of the incident going viral. There had been no signs of illness prior to the collapse.
Earlier that day, Kinsey had posted about the new pope and shared a message from former President Donald Trump on her X (formerly Twitter) page. She had also recently uploaded a video of herself shooting an assault rifle in the desert, expressing her support for the Second Amendment.
Kinsey, who now leads Titan Media Strategies, had previously worked as a correspondent for One America News and served as the director of external relations during the Trump administration.
