Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif arrived in London on Friday after concluding his official two-day visit to Belarus.
Upon his arrival in the British capital, the Prime Minister was welcomed by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the United Kingdom, Dr. Muhammad Faisal. Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar also accompanied the Prime Minister on the visit.
Earlier, Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin and Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov saw off Prime Minister Shehbaz at Minsk International Airport. Officials from the Pakistani embassy in Belarus were also present at the departure.
During his visit to Minsk, Prime Minister Shehbaz met with senior parliamentary leaders of Belarus and described the recent developments in bilateral ties as “very encouraging.“
He held discussions with Natalia Kochanova, Chairperson of the Council of the Republic, and Igor Sergeyenko, Chairman of the House of Representatives. The meetings focused on enhancing parliamentary cooperation and deepening the partnership between the two countries.
