Saudi Crown Prince and Russian President discuss ways to boost their bilateral ties
Russia and Saudi Arabia decided to further boost their bilateral ties. Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman received a phone call from Russian President Vladimir Putin.
During the call, both leaders discussed relations between the two countries and means of developing cooperation in various fields. Saudi news agency reported this important development on Thursday.
Saudi Crown Prince and Russian President Putin also exchanged views on a number of issues and matters of common concern.
Saudi Arabia and Russia are enhancing their mutual cooperation as both countries are getting rid of the dual containment policy of the United States.

Iran officially reopened its embassy in Riyadh today (May 6) after a gap of seven years.
According to the Foreign Ministry of Iran, Mohammad Reza Enayati has been appointed as the new Ambassador of Iran to Saudi Arabia.
“Iran also opened its Consulate and Permanent Representative Office in OIC in Jeddah on May 7, a day after reopening Embassy in Riyadh.

Mohammad Reza Enayati, who was serving as the director of the Persian Gulf department at the Foreign Ministry has been designated as new Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
Enayati was among those senior Iranian officials who held dialogue with Saudi officials in China in March this year.
On March 19, both the sides agreed to reestablish ties. Hence, the foreign ministers of the two countries have met twice _ in Beijing on April 6 and in Cape Town on June 2 to move forward with their agenda.
Resumption of Iran-Saudi ties brokered by China is being seen as a crucial development in the region that will put an end to conflicts in this region.
