Hafiz Hussain Ahmed, a senior leader of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), passed away on Wednesday after battling a prolonged illness, his son Munir Ahmed confirmed.
According to his son, Hafiz Hussain Ahmed had been suffering from kidney disease for an extended period. Details regarding his funeral prayer and burial will be announced later.
JUI-F chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman expressed deep sorrow over his passing, stating that “a chapter of beautiful memories has ended with the death of Hafiz Hussain Ahmed.” He remembered the late leader as a wise and ideological parliamentary figure.
