Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a revised winter gas supply schedule, aiming to maintain stable gas pressure for its consumers throughout the season. The new schedule is designed to help households plan their cooking and daily routines more efficiently, with set times for gas availability during peak cooking hours.
According to the updated plan, SNGPL customers will receive gas at full pressure from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. for breakfast, 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. for lunch, and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. for dinner. Company representatives highlighted that these regulated gas supply hours align with government directives to prioritize household needs during the colder months, ensuring uninterrupted service during high-demand periods.
SNGPL officials assured that gas pressure would remain stable and reliable during these designated hours across all areas they serve. As the winter season approaches, demand for gas typically escalates, not only for cooking but also for heating purposes, as homes increase their usage of boilers and heaters. The colder weather and shorter daylight further drive up consumption, making a reliable gas supply essential.
Serving more than 7.22 million customers across Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and other parts of Pakistan, SNGPL has taken these measures to meet seasonal needs. By implementing this revised schedule, the company aims to help customers adapt to winter demands while conserving energy resources.
