US Top General
General Charles Q. Brown Jr., the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, issued a stern warning to Iran on Tuesday. He cautioned Iran against its involvement in the Israel-Hamas conflict.
While en route to a meeting in Brussels to discuss Ukraine, General Brown emphasized the importance of sending a strong message.
He stated, “We do not want this conflict to escalate, and our aim is for Iran to clearly understand this message.”
To reinforce deterrence efforts, the United States is deploying the USS Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group to the eastern Mediterranean. This group includes an aircraft carrier, a guided missile cruiser, and guided missile destroyers.
Earlier, through its permanent mission to the United Nations, Iran has firmly denied any involvement in the surprise attack on Israel by the Hamas militant group.
In a statement dated October 9, Iran’s Mission to the United Nations clarified its position, stating, “Iran consistently stands in solidarity with Palestine.

However, it is crucial to emphasize that Iran is not playing a role in Palestine’s response, as these actions are entirely determined by the Palestinian people themselves.”
Meanwhile, the United States reaffirmed its commitment to pursuing diplomatic solutions rather than deploying troops on the ground in response to recent attacks on Israel by Hamas.
White House National Security Council spokesperson John Kirby conveyed this position on Monday.
The death toll in Israel has now reached 800, while 687 individuals in Gaza have tragically lost their lives.
Meanwhile, recognizing Iran’s support for Hamas, Kirby clarified that the Biden administration did not find evidence directly linking Iran to the current assault on Israel.
The White House is prepared to respond to any further security requests from Israel, even as diplomatic efforts to normalize relations between Saudi Arabia and Israel continue uninterrupted.
